The Lion's Cup, Transformed Life Church's (TLC) six-a-side football tournament, is on tomorrow with 16 teams hunting a grand prize of $120,000.

Continuing its tradition of community involvement and partnership, Transformed Life Church has joined with sponsors Stewarts Auto Sales, Jamaica Broilers Group and Heart Institute of the Caribbean to promote team building, foster healthy lifestyle experiences, and encourage men to take up their rightful place as positive and strong leaders and protectors in Jamaica's society.

Slated to take place at Football Factory, 77 Shortwood Road starting at 2 p.m., this year's event will have 16 teams drawn from private companies, football clubs and recreational footballers islandwide.

As part of its mission to the men of this nation, last year TLC hosted a paintball tournament, and has made a significant investment in the growth and development of the men residing at the Open Arms Drop-In Centre on Windward Road in Kingston, which is managed by Friends of the Homeless, a non-governmental, non-profit organisation.
