Assistant coach bemoans lack of Women's Premier League

Assistant coach of the national senior women's football team Andrew Price has admitted that the absence of a Women's Premier League this season has impacted on the national programme. After failing to identify a sponsor, the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) was forced to put the league on hold.

It’s the second year that the league was being seriously hit as it was only held in an abbreviated version the previous year. Coach Price, who just concluded the third weekend of a residential camp, says the absence of a league has impacted the fitness level of the players.
