It will be a repeat of the Ben Francis Cup final as Dinthill Technical and Clarendon College meet in the first semi-final of the ISSA Flow DaCosta Cup on Tuesday at the Montego Bay Sports Complex. When the two met at St Elizabeth Technical for the knockout final, it was Clarendon College who ran out 4-1 winners in extra-time.
But while Hamilton is confident about a win, coach of Clarendon College Byjeon Thomas is backing his charges to do the double over his St Catherine counterparts, especially after their impressive showing in the Ben Francis final.
According to Thomas: “It’s going to be a completely different game; it’s going to be a difficult game and we are going to have to be on our A game,” reasoned Thomas. The contest is set to start at 4:00 pm.
Meanwhile, after a dramatic come-from-behind win over Calabar in the Flow Super Cup semi-final on Saturday, coach of St Elizabeth Technical Omar 'Rambo' Wedderburn says there will be no excuses as they take on Rusea’s in the second DaCosta Cup semi-final on Tuesday also at the Montego Bay Sports Complex.
Hitz 92 FM will have live coverage on both semi-finals while TVJ will have live coverage of the Clarendon College/Dinthill semi-final with live coverage of the Rusea’s/STETHS semi on TVJ Sports Network.
