In June of this year, Florida-based artiste Shifta was in the island promoting his latest single Do You Wanna which features Che'nelle, a Malaysian-Australian recording artiste.

Since its official release, Do You Wanna has been enjoying rave reviews. The premiered video has now added to its popularity.

According to Shifta: "The single has been consistent and promising, now with the video being a part of the promotion the interest has increased ten-fold. We expect the trend to continue well into the Jamaican premiere and international debut of the video."

The latest endorsement comes from ABC News channel 10 in Florida which also covered the music video launch in that state.

"The Timeless Label (on which the single is recorded) and specifically Rasheed Ali, our CEO, has always had a good relationship with media entities in the US over the years. I have also been on the forefront of dancehall and entertainment in Florida for some time. We know that they see and recognise the potential of Do You Wanna single and lent their support because they recognise quality when they see it," said Shifta.

Commenting on the endorsement by ABC, Shifta said, "It's an important milestone for the team. When reputable organisations, particularly national media entities, can recognise the work that I have put into my career thus far, then it is positive feedback and a motivational thrust for me to tap more so into my potential," the artiste, born Tomrad Mason, said.
