Barbican F.C. earned a historic first point in the Red Stripe Premier League, after holding Boys' Town to a 1-1 draw at Collie Smith Drive on Sunday.
Lennox Russell gave Barbican the lead two minutes from half time, but Garfield Gillespie cancelled that advantage seven minutes into the second half. Barbican are on 1-point from their only game in the premiership.
Meanwhile, the other promoted club Reno F.C. of Westmoreland clipped Humble Lion by the odd goal in five at the Frome Sports Complex, winning 3-2. Reno leads the premiership with 4-points from 2-matches following their 1-1 draw with Montego Bay United last Monday.
Former Champions Tivoli Gardens and Harbour View drew 0-0; Cavalier F.C. beat Sporting Central Academy 1-0 to join Reno atop the league with 4-points.
On Monday, Arnett Gardens tackle Rivoli United at the stadium east at 9p.m., while Waterhouse who oppose DC United Tuesday in the Concacaf Champions League, will face Montego Bay United on Thursday.
