Holder praises Windies after crushing victory over Bangladesh

West Indies captain Jason Holder has described the team's 219 run win over Bangladesh inside three days of the first test at the Sir Vivian Richards Ground in Antigua as "clinical". Bangladesh were bowled out for 144 in their 2nd innings after resuming on 62-6 and needing 301 more runs to make the Windies bat again.

Pacer Shannon Gabriel was the chief destroyer, bagging his fifth 5 wicket haul in tests with 5-77. Nurul Hasan put up the most resistance for the Bangladeshi batsmen as he made a fighting 64. Holder chipped in with 3-30, while Miguel Cummins took 2-16. This game was Bangladesh's second shortest in terms of balls faced in the last 66 years as the 59 overs that Bangladesh faced were the least a side faced in being bowled out twice.

Scores in the match: Bangladesh 43 & 144; the West Indies 406. The second test is set to bowl off on Thursday, July 12 at Sabina Park in Kingston.
