Dancehall artiste Konfydence is getting ready to stir things up in the dancehall with her new single called 'Busy'.
"It's going to take the place by storm. I know a lot of people are going to love it. It's a mixture of humour and controversy," she revealed. Konfydence recently shot a video for Busy, which features her showing off her acting skills.
"I'm doing more acting in this video, it's going to be very different from all my previous videos. My older videos feature a lot of dancing. I know my fans love the dancing, but I wanted to do something different this time around," she said.
Dancing has become a key feature in most of her videos and her stage performances, and the beautiful Clarendon native is not shy about this.
"I like to dance, it's a part of my personality. I have always liked dancing and drama. I like to move around on stage and have fun when I am performing. You have to spice things up when you're performing, the fans want entertainment so you have to entertain them."
The video was shot under the direction of music video director Chris Campbell at various locations in Kingston, including the popular Mixing Lab recording studio at Dumbarton Avenue, and sections of Maverley.
"We really put a lot of hard work into this video, it's going to be awesome. Working with Chris was a great experience, he's a very creative director," said Konfydence. The video is slated to be released before the end of the month.
