SINGER Ky-enie hopes to finally lay to rest questions surrounding his origin with his new song, Land of My Birth.
The artiste says mystery about his nationality has dogged him for several years. It has got to a point of 'enough is enough'.
"Persons have always been confused about my origin whether I am American or European, so I wanted to compose a song that will identify Ky-enie as 100 per cent Jamaican and have it stamped in their memory." said Ky-enie.
A video for Land of My Birth was filmed in sections of Stewart Town, Boscobel in St Mary. Ky-enie, 33, says he grew up between the tourist areas of Boscobel and Ocho Rios.
The New York-based Ky-enie is preparing to release two new songs -- Round of Applause and I Pray.
