Rev Al Miller is still on his mission towards a new Jamaica and this week brings to The Agenda the possibilities wrapped up in the upcoming by-elections.
He suggests that the wind in the air is not Christmas breeze, it's the opportunity to make the turn for a better way of existing as a nation. Miller adds that, now more than ever, greater care and responsible action have to be taken, using every opportunity to send the right signals — and an election is a tremendous opportunity to begin the change from tribalist language to a 'one-Jamaica' language of unity. He concludes that if the candidates cannot influence positive change, then they are misplaced and will only become a part of the problem rather than a part of the solution. Seize the day, says Miller.
