The Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) says it is not considering extending its shuttle service for schoolchildren beyond Clarendon at this time.
The State-owned bus company started a pilot programme earlier this month, which shuttled students in the May Pen area.
Since then, there have been calls for the company to extend the service to other parishes.
However, speaking on Independent Talk this morning, JUTC communications manager Clinton Clarke, said there are no immediate plans to extend the service.
Meanwhile, the JUTC says students in Clarendon using the shuttle service do not have access to the SMARTER Cards used to benefit from concessionary rates.
However, the company says special arrangements have been put in place to benefit the students.
