Reggae Girls look to rebound from opening game loss at CONCACAF Championship

A win or at least a draw will be on the minds of Jamaica's Reggae Girlz when they face Costa Rica in their second match of the CONCACAF Women's Championship on Monday, having lost their opening contest 2-0 to Canada in Texas on Friday night. The Canadians went ahead in the 33rd minute thanks to a goal from forward Nichelle Prince after the Jamaicans had failed to clear a lobbed pass into the box.

Prince was then back for her second in the 79th minute as she latched on to a through pass from Adriana Leon before expertly slotting past Jamaica’s goalkeeper Sydney Schneider. Jamaica sit third in Group 'B' without a point but with minus 2 goal difference with Cuba last in the group having by hammered 8-0 by Costa Rica in the day's other game.
