Members of both the Waterhouse FC of Jamaica and DC United of the United States wrapped up their final preparations last night ahead of their crucial CONCACAF Champions league group fixture at the National Stadium this evening.
Waterhouse enters the contest knowing fully well that victory would push them to the brink of qualifying to the next round by virtue of securing home and away wins against FC Tauro of Panama.
Both teams met last month at the RFK Stadium with the MLS club securing a 1-0 win.
With that result being the only blemish on their record to date Anthony Patrick, coach of the Waterhouse team, says they intend to turn the tables on the visitors.
“We have to see if we can try and approach the game with a very positive frame of mind and be very positive right throughout the entire game,” he said “Once we can do that and once our midfield clicks then I feel we have a very good chance of winning”.
Waterhouse leads the group with six points from three games while DC United are second with three points from their lone game so far.
