Man charged for illegal firearm

The Anchovy Police seized one Smith & Wesson .38 revolver and six rounds of ammunition during an operation in Roehampton, St James, on Sunday.

He has been identified as 28-year-old Ricardo Clayton, a Farmer of Normandy district, St James, who has since been charged with illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.

Reports are that about 9:20 a.m., a team of officers conducted an operation in the community when they stopped and searched a vehicle.

The police asked the driver to exit the vehicle and when he did, they observed a bulge in his waist.
