Coach of Boys’ Town Andrew Price says striker Shamar Nicholson will be a big miss for his club in this season’s Red Stripe Premier League.
The 20 year old is set to depart the island this week after signing a deal with NK Domzale in the Slovenian Premier League.
“I’m very elated that Shamar has gotten an opportunity to play his trade overseas. He has worked hard and from he made his debut as a 17 year old for Boys’ Town in the Premier League, I always thought he had the characteristics to land him a professional contract,” said Price.
Price adds that while the club will miss Nicholson, there are persons capable of filling his shoes.
Nicholson was one of two Boys’ Town players included in the Reggae Boyz squad in recent times, with the other being midfielder Jamiel Hardware who scored on debut against Trinidad and Tobago.
