More than 60 volunteers from the bank and WLI members worked on upgrading the playground for the school's 130 students. The school, which is located at the Voluntary Organisation for the Upliftment of Children (VOUCH), caters to students from several underserved communities in downtown Kingston. Women's Leadership Initiative, a special committee of United Way of Jamaica, has, for the past 14 years, provided financing for the upgrading of services and facilities at the school and has also provided scholarships.
