Reggae Boyz lose to Canada in friendly international

Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz suffered a 2-0 loss to Canada in their friendly international at the BMO Field in Toronto on Saturday night. Defensive blunders led to both goals as Anthony Jackson-Hamel opened the scoring in the 16th minute before Jonathan Osario doubled the advantage in the 30th.

The Reggae Boyz started Andre Blake in goal, Kemar Lawrence, Jeremaine Taylor, Damion Lowe and Alvas Powell in defence. The 4-man midfield was made up by Jevaughn Watson, Michael Binns, Oneil Fisher and Ricardo Morris.

Former Tivoli Gardens striker Dane Kelly made his debut up front where he was partnered by Romario Williams. The Canadians were reduced to 10-men after promising 16-year-old striker Alphonso Davis was sent off in the 71st minute following a clash with Jamaica's defender Damion Lowe.
