Llori Sharpe and Patrick Lee captured their respective sections of the Jamaica Triathlon, first in a series of challenge competitions, at the Port Royal Complex.
The event is being used primarily as a trial for the Jamaica team which will be heading to Barbados for the inaugural Caribbean Junior Triathlon and Aquathlon Championship in October.
17 year old Sharpe dominated her section ahead of Zara-Ann Lee Harris, returning a time of one hour 17 minutes and 20 seconds. Lee captured the open class in one hour, 15 minutes and 20 seconds. David Osbourne was second and Bruce Kidner third. The Aquathlon title went to Kemar Richards with Khalil Smith second.
