Sprint hurdler Levy maintains good form

Ronald Levy maintained his stellar form at the Padova meet in Italy on Sunday. Levy won the men's 110 metre hurdles in 13.34 seconds ahead of Spain's Yidiel Contreras and American Jarrett Eaton who was third, both credited with 13.61 seconds.

In the men's 400 metre hurdles, Andre Clarke was sixth in 50.58 with the event won by Kenya's Koech Haron in 49.39. Meanwhile, Anneisha McLaughlin-Whilby won the women's one lap event in 51.71 seconds, beating Jessica Beard of USA 51.82. The other Jamaican in the event, Verone Chambers was 8th in 55.19.

American Allyson Felix won the women's 200m in 22.80 seconds ahead of compatriot Phyllis Francis 23.10 with Jamaica's Sasha-Lee Forbes seventh in 23.31.

Americans Queen Harrison and Dawn Harper-Nelson were first and second respectively in the women's 100 metre hurdles. Harrison crossed the line in 12.84 and Harper-Nelson 12.86. Jamaica's Megan Simmonds was sixth in 13.24 and teammate Shimayra Williams seventh in 13.28.
