Captain Stafanie Taylor top-scored with an unbeaten 36 to lead Jamaica's women to an 8 wicket win over the Windward Islands as the host secured win number two on the trot in at Kensington Park in the Cricket West Indies regional women's Twenty20 tournament on Tuesday.
Batting first, the Windwards were restricted to 85-6 as Chadean Nation bagged 4-20. Chinelle Henry chipped in with 1-7, while Juliana Nero who top-scored 27 and Pearl Etienne got 19. In their turn at bat, the Jamaicans lost two wickets enroute to winning off just 14 overs and 3 balls. Skipper Taylor led the way with an unbeaten 36, while Natasha McLean added 20. Nation was also left unbeaten on 15.
