Water issues for St Catherine and Clarendon

The National Water Commission is advising customers in some sections of Clarendon that the disruption they are currently experiencing in their water supply is as a result of high turbidity levels affecting operations at the Kellits Water Treatment Plant.

Areas impacted are: Kellits, Crofts Hill, Good Hope, Tait, Pedro, Rhoden Hall, Guava Ground, Hickery, Comsie, and Jericho.

Meanwhile, in St Catherine, customers served by the Green Acres Water facility are without water supply due to a JPSCo power supply problem at the plant.

Areas affected are: Green Acres, Bendon, Bellevue Heights, St John's Meadows, Mercury Gardens, Johnson Pen, St John's Heights, Bellwood Housing Scheme, Bertram Close, Bellevue Drive, Ebony Drive, and Dovecot.

The agency is assuring customers it will restore their regular water supply as soon as normality returns to the facilities.
