KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Meteorological (Met) Service of Jamaica is reporting that partly cloudy conditions are expected across the island this morning.
This afternoon should see isolated showers and possible thunderstorm mainly across western parishes, while partly cloudy conditions are expected elsewhere as well as windy across southern coastal areas.
Meanwhile, there is a pre-frontal trough across the central Caribbean, including Jamaica.
The trough is expected linger across the central Caribbean today as a cold front enters the north west Caribbean before stalling west of the island late tomorrow through Thursday.
According to the Met Office enhanced afternoon shower activity can therefore be expected across the island later this week.
