Weekly Round-up: Tesha Miller charged…Unemployment down… Bolt's Australian football dream collapses

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Reputed leader of the Klansman Gang Tesha Miller was on Thursday charged in relation to a murder committed in 2008.

Miller, who was arrested along with his girlfriend at a shopping centre in Barbican, St Andrew on Monday, was also charged with accessory before and after the fact in relation to the murder.

It was also reported on Thursday that the country's unemployment rate fell to a record low 8.4 per cent, according to the Statistical Institute of Jamaica [STATIN] Labour Force Survey for July 2018.

In sport, sprint King Usain Bolt's attempt to become a professional footballer with Australia's Central Coast Mariners collapsed Friday as his trial period was terminated after contract talks failed.

The eight-time Olympic champion had been trying out with the A-League side since August. Watch as OBSERVER ONLINE wraps this week for you.
