KINGSTON, Jamaica — The police are advising that there is in existence a returning residents' handbook, which gives general information about resettling in Jamaica, including security information.
This handbook is now available for download via the online publishing website, Issuu, here.
People are being encouraged to download and share the handbook with relatives and friends, both locally and in the diaspora.
The police said copies will also be made available through the JCF's Community Safety and Security Branch.
Titled “Welcome Home", the handbook was created after a meeting in July that involved individuals from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the police and other stakeholders. 'Welcome Home' was first published in September and is updated periodically as necessary.
Meanwhile, the decomposing body of 48-year-old Findley was discovered on Wednesday close to Providence Housing Scheme in Santa Cruz after residents detected a foul smell in bushes close to the entrance of the housing scheme.
