After seeing 24 sounds from across the island battle each other, the Guinness Sounds of Greatness series will reach its explosive climax today, as the final four sound systems will face off for the ultimate title and $1 million in prize money.
The Red Stripe Oval will come alive as Game Changaz, Black Blunt, Lexzona and Di General Pink Panther go dub for dub.
It will be a battle of youth versus experience as the six-month-old Game Changaz and three-year-old Lexzona will have to ramp up their game to have a chance against their more seasoned competitors, Di General Pink Panther and Black Blunt, who have been the business for 20 and 24 years, respectively.
Hosted by Bounty Killer, the five-week long competition is split into three rounds; a 10-minute juggling round, a five-song themed challenge, and the notorious 'dub-fi-dub' round.
Unlike the previous four weeks, no sound will be eliminated after the first round.
Finally, the 'Di Challenge' round will task sounds to play the best of an era or artiste, forcing the four finalists to really leave everything on the turntables to prove their greatness.
Resident judges Notnice and Richie Feelings will be joined by guest judge, dancehall icon of the late 1980s Admiral Bailey.
